A DIFFERENCE: “LEADERS SUMMITS”
A PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED
“Do not neglect
your gift, which was given you through a prophetic
message when the body of elders laid their hands on
you.” 1 Timothy 4:14 NIV
In 1985 two significant prophecies were delivered
to Jose Pascua. When they were given, neither of us had
any concept of how long it would take to be fulfilled
and what it would demand from us. But God is faithful!
Twenty years later, this is where we are. For those who
have supported us in faith, we are sharing the view of
what God has done.
NEW
ASSIGNMENT
The
first one came from Dr. Bill Hamon. It was most
extraordinary because we have not met him before. In
fact neither of us had heard of him. A lady pastor who
had met Jose in Conventions mentioned Jose’s name to Dr.
Hamon and instantly he asked her to take him to Jose’s
office. The gist of his prophecy was that “Jose will
be blasted out of his office because God had another
assignment for him…and he will help establish training
centers all over the world…and he will be ministering to
the historic churches...among the
nations.”
This
prophecy was literally fulfilled when the Lord sent us
to the former Soviet Union in 1991. We were received by
the Russian Orthodox Church and all the other church
groups that remained faithful through the years of
Communism. The Joshua Generation organized and
co-sponsored an International Conference called “Prayers
for Russia”. with the support and cooperation of the
leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian Bible
Society, Pentecostal / Charismatic churches and other
mainline churches
working
together in September of 1992 to thank and praise
God for answering the prayers of His people that
resulted in the collapse of the former Soviet Union.
Since then the Lord has allowed us to minister to the
body of Christ, including Roman Catholic churches in
Africa, Europe and Asia, and many Christian
churches and denominations.
HOLDING THE HANDLE OF THE
UMBRELLA
The
second prophecy was given in a word picture by Pastor
Jack Hayford. In 1985, Jose had lunch with Pastor Jack.
As they stepped out of the car in the parking lot, Jack
turned to Jose and spoke these words, “I see an
umbrella …. I do not see you on the top framework, I do
not see you on the stem, but I see you as the handle of
the umbrella.” Jose and I kept all these things in
our hearts. Many times we thought they were just for us
to ponder. But we have seen the grace of God and His
glorious handiwork come to pass in the past twenty
years.
This
prophecy was set in motion when we started the First
Leaders Summit in January of 1999. About a dozen leaders
attended the Summit.. God has made clear that the
framework are leaders that Pastor Jack spoke of.
Leaders of
churches, organizations, business and ministries,
needing a catalyst to fulfill their visions and
dreams that God has given them. These leaders have
“crossed their Jordans” to possess “the nations
as their inheritance in Christ.” They are fulfilling the
Great Commission to win souls in the power of the Holy
Spirit. |
